Personally, I had a ton of fun using the livechat on forums. The Livechat made more people use the forums and it caught people's attention.

Voting System

Instead of people having to type out their opinion in the chat, there could be a voting system, for example, voting on a topic/ suggestion. I remember this used to be a thing but I can not find it on the options anymore. I'm sorry if it's already a thing.

Chat was neat but it costs a premium as an addon for this software, so probably not coming back.

And there isn't exactly voting but there is polls you can create still. Next to 'Watch' there should be a dropdown and on that dropdown you can press 'Create poll'.
