Render Distance and FPS

I use optifine 1.5.2 and I can run MineCraft at a smooth FPS unless my render distance is at Tiny. It lags up at all the other ones. Anybody help me?

I say search in youtube best optifine settings, thats what I did and it works fine

Or run disc defragger
Or run a game booster

Yeah same with me Im at tiny and i get like 20 fps. I tried everything and nothing works. I wonder Why. Can Anyone tell me pls?

I got dem high fps with them 256x256 texture packs, as panda said : Defrag and run a game booster thingy magick
