You can fly around with a jetpack.  Shoot aliens with lots of fancy weapons and set them on fire or zap them or whatever with abilities.  Fairly big map, different zones.  PVP.  Different classes which you can change to whenever.  You can have a sex change whenever or change your skin colour like mj.  there's thumping which basically a spaceships drops a big drill which thumps into the ground a gathers resources, you can use turrets to fend off enemies while thumping or you could be cool and fly around and shoot shit up.  Crafting and researchy things.  perks.  outposts you have to defend from the rival faction, the chosen. grenades.  vehicles.  wingy things so you can fly really fast.  mooreeee

and you missed a really fun event where the devs were playing as bosses and they just went around the map and jumped you so you'd tell people on chat "DEEVV OMG DEV HERE (co-ords)" and there where hundreds of people at one place trying to kill the devs so explosions and bullets everywhere. fun.
