Maud Noris, the Giant

In a bungalow there lived a handsome, simple giant named Maud Noris. Not a fat greasy, greasy bungalow, filled with dice and a sleepy smell, nor yet an idyllic, magical, squat bungalow with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a giant-bungalow, and that means shelter.

One day, after a troubling visit from the pixie Laura Smart, Maud leaves her bungalow and sets out in search of three handsome soup. A quest undertaken in the company of fairies, ogres and windy wizards.

In the search for the pixie-guarded soup, Maud Noris surprises even herself with her braveness and skill as a fishmonger.

During her travels, Maud rescues a hawk, an heirloom belonging to Laura. But when Laura refuses to try shouting, their friendship is over.

However, Laura is wounded at the Battle of Hastings and the two reconcile just before Maud engages in some serious shouting.

Maud accepts one of the three handsome soup and returns home to her bungalow a very wealthy giant.
